The event’s purpose was to improve the health and safety of the school infrastructures for the upcoming school year. As a result, a badly damaged pathway was uprooted, and a new path was built. Additionally, an inaccessible handwash station had new steps constructed so the children could reach and use the handwash facilities. As a result, the children were happy to use the handwash station and walk along the pathway without tripping and falling on the previously damaged path.

Project Pa Liga (Basketball and Volleyball Tournament)
Pa Liga was a basketball and volleyball tournament between four neighboring communities. The event aimed to improve community relations among the youth, spread an anti-drug and anti-alcohol message, and encourage the kids to stay in school. The event included men’s volleyball and basketball and women’s volleyball. It was a single-elimination tournament, and one community won everything. It was a fun-filled weekend for all involved.
